Abstract

The Argentine Society of Dermatology, with 83 years of life, has been formed and enriched by great Masters, who had the vision of bringing together professionals from all over Argentina, not only for the formation of groups of national and foreign specialists, but also to constitute a Society that has managed to grow and become stronger until it occupies a preponderant and recognized place not only in the national sphere, but also in the rest of Latin America and in the world. For this reason, it is essential for us to recognize with gratitude all the teachings transmitted and experiences lived through each one of the Masters who achieved that our specialty "Dermatology" occupies the well-deserved place in which it currently finds itself. For this Directive Commission it has been relevant to have had the opportunity to host the act of delivery of the distinctions granted by the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) to two of our great masters, Doctor Professors Hugo Cabrera and Mario Marini.
