Abstract

A 9-year-old girl from Las Talitas, Tucumán, with a personal history of bilateral hearing loss and obesity, consulted due to a dermatosis located on the face and inguinal region of 3 months' duration, without accompanying symptoms.

On physical examination, brownish macules were observed, located in the bilateral eyelid, perioral and inguinal regions.

Complementary studies were requested, including laboratory studies, which did not show significant data. In the dermoscopy of the skin lesions, fine brownish-colored blood cells with a linear arrangement were observed and a skin biopsy from the inguinal region, in whose histopathological study with HyE staining, reported a band-like inflammatory infiltrate, which erased the dermoepidermal junction, vacuolar degeneration of the keratinocytes. basal cells, civatte bodies and the abundant melanophages loaded with pigment.
