Abstract

A 14-year-old female patient with no relevant medical history, accompanied by her parents, consulted the Pediatric Dermatology Department due to a lesion on the index finger of her left hand.

Physical examination revealed a hyperkeratotic tumor with a duroelastic consistency, painful to palpation, 0.5 cm in diameter, located on the second phalanx of the index finger of the left hand, which had been developing for 10 months. Directed questioning revealed no previous trauma. Dermoscopy revealed a hyperkeratotic lesion with an erythematous base, without a pigment network.
